Gorgeous snake at the Columbus Zoo. Don't remember the actual name of it.

One of my top favorites from my zoo shoot.

That's an Amethystine, or Scrub Python, native to Australia. This is the same kind of snake that made international news recently when one ate a small dog in an Aussie suburb. The dog's family KNEW the snake was around, so why they let the dog out unsupervised is beyond my comprehension.

Wow, thanks for the info. That's pretty crazy about the dog. if i knew the snake was around i would definitely not let my dog out!

I point my finger..TAKE THE BLAME
And this time i will own the name
Because NOBODY is going to RUIN ME,
If i have to, i will RUIN MYSELF,
And it will be 'MY RUIN'
